The Leyweg shopping centre forms the cornerstone of the redevelopment of this post-war district. This complex includes a Vroom & Dreesmann department store, a supermarket, 18 renovated apartments and a bus station. Below is an underground car park with 400 parking spaces. The complex can be easily recognised by the giant cantilevered canopy sheltering the bus station on the Hengelolaan road.
