PricewaterhouseCoopers Westgate I, Amsterdam (NL)

Rob Ligtvoet

>

Three separate buildings form the Westgate I office complex, PricewaterhouseCoopers' new Amsterdam office. A new grand entrance and restaurant in the patio connect the three separate buildings. The width of the building does not correspond to a traditional office plan. Yet this is just what the PwC brief called for. The resulting wide corridors are used for service points such as pantries, photocopier stands and conference hubs. The larger conference rooms are grouped together in one of the buildings.
